A message to City Official

Updated: Jan 17, 2019

Help Greenway Guardians now with emailing an easy, important, timely message to Rodney Bohner, the Lead Planner.

Dear friends and supporters of our cherished Willamette River Greenway,

Planners are making recommendations later this week on the inappropriate development application by pave-and-run developers for their Lombard proposal adjacent to the Willamette River Greenway. Your friends and neighbors have been hard at work analyzing and finding the flaws in this bad proposal. You can help now by taking a few minutes to cut-and-paste the message below and sending it to the lead planner at the address below with our suggested Subject Line:

Send this message to: rodney.t.bohner@ci.eugene.or.us

Subject: Protect Our Willamette River Greenway!

Cut-and-paste this message:

The Lombard development proposal needs to be denied due to:

Lack of compliance with “clear & objective” standards of the Eugene code as evidenced by the applicant’s numerous requests for adjustments.Lack of traffic analysis for the dangerous implications of increased usage of River Road and adjacent neighborhood lanes.

Public lands need public process! Thank you for your consideration of this request to protect our precious Willamette River Greenway. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
